It was way yonder more expensive than my KT P-32 (which I really like, btw), but I just got this today:

A S&W 642 is the only way to go for me. I pocket carry it in an Uncle Mike`s sidekick ISP soft holster wearing cargo shorts. Forget it`s there sometimes. It goes BOOM Everytime. Trustworthy and Reliable,Always.

I carried a S&W 442 Airweight in a Mitch Rosen Pocket Softy holster for 10yrs. Reliable, light, reasonably concealable. Also carried a couple of Bianchi Speed Strips with spare rounds. The package is a bit thicker due to the cylinder, and it's about ~6.5" long. But it always goes "bang." With practice, many people can be very accurate within 10yds or so. I wasn't so accurate with it, but that's just me.

For jacket pocket, I use a Charter Arms 2 1/2 inch Bulldog Pug in .44Spl. (in a pocket holster). I've used a Glock 26, but find it a little thick.
For pants pockets, I currently use a Kel Tec P380 (holster also) but plan to move up to a Kahr PM-9 in the near future (where it'll work anyway). Also might pick up a J Frame (never can have too many firearms! ).

I use a Kahr PM9 for pocket carry, you'll forget it's even there . Shoot's great, you do have to keep a tight grip on it, when firing, but that shouldn't be a problem were you to ever have to draw your weapon. I use a Desantis Nemesis holster for it. It's a great pocket gun.

Haha. That's funny, I have a 642 and a Kel-Tec P3AT and the .380 gets carried a lot more than the .38 does anymore. The 642 is a great little gun, but too big for me to comfortably pocket carry. I've also found that I am more accurate with the Kel-Tec than I am with the S&W.
