Anyone have a Smith & Wesson SW99OL? Experience? Like? Dislike? How's the trigger?

Considering a 9mm, but have never shoot one.

They shoot well enough, but might be hard to get parts/service... I think they got discontinued when the M&P came out, but I might be wrong about that.

I also know that they were a lot of complaints of breakage from the few P.D.'s that bought them, and thats one reason why they went back to the drawing board to create the M&P as we know it today.

Take a look at the M&P. I hve the full size 9 and the compact 9. Both are incredible. Smith is giving away magazines if you buy one this summer. Check it out.

I don't believe that it's a discontinued gun. S&W has them on their website in a couple different flavors. I will contact them and make sure.

I've looked at the M&P's. They don't fit my hand as nicely as this one does.

I work at a gun store, so I have the privilege of feeling/holding/fondling guns all day. Problem with most of the composite compact firearms is that the grip is so short. I want a grip that my entire hand will fit on. Baby Glocks are an overall nice sized gun, except for that darn grip. The SW99OL has a full size grip and is only about 3/8" longer than my Colt Defender.
