Pretty simple...

Stay armed...narrow your choices...stay safe!
You don't see the Glock 36 mentioned very often. Have you had good luck with it?

Thanks for the recommendation. I haven't see much written about this holster, but it sounds like you are really sold on it. I'll take a serious look at it.

thanks,

Well, I carry the same gun winter or summer. A Glock 23.

It conceals easily, it won't rust (I wear it when I ride my bike like I did this last weekend, 95+ degree temps, high humidity, and I have had to shake sweat out of it after long rides in the summer heat. Still no rust. Not a hint of it).

There are hundreds of choices of holsters for it, I think everyone makes a holster for the Glock 19/23, and there are tons of after market parts for it.

Why have a summer gun and a winter gun when you can have a gun for all seasons?

Milt Sparks VM2. A light t-shirt, tucked in, covered by an open button-up short-sleeve shirt (like Earl on "My Name Is Earl".) Unless I decide to OC, then I leave off the button-up.

Winter carry is a long-sleeve shirt covered by an unzipped jacket.

Draw is the same, hand pushes back the cover, then grip and draw.

On occasion, I have been known to carry a .357 J-frame IWB, crossdraw as a BUG.

I might even rarely carry the .357 as a primary but it is in the same place the 1911 would go. Same clothes, same draw. The only difference is my thumb fans at the non-existent safety as I clear leather.

Winter: Sig Sauer P220 .45 (Always with extra mag! Golden Saber 230-grain bonded BJHP) or G35 (Awesome! Golden Saber 165-grain bonded BJHP).
Summer: S&W 642 (Mach 2 Tactical kydex pocket holster w/ HKS speed-loader. Carry load: Speer 135-grain Gold Dot).

I like a poly frame for summer wear, since I carry IWB and tend to sweat buckets & currently use a P95DC for that. The 1911 comes out for cooler weather, but since not all heavy coats permit easy access when zipped/buttoned up (stadium coat for example), a pocket 9mm (a PF-9) in an accessible pocket sometimes seems in order. Depends on the coat & what I'm doing.

For me in the summer it is lot easier to carry my PF9 - even OWB. You will not find an easier gun to carry and to conceal than the PF9. But cool/cold weather I switch back to the G27 or G23. I do OC the G27 or G23 sometimes in the summer - but I mainly stay concealed.
