PPS 8 round mag, Worth it?

I have a second edition PPS. I love the gun. It shoots like a dream. It is kinda a pain in the butt because when I go to shoot it the wife goes also. We only have the 6 round and 7 round mag, so its kinda a pain to reload. I do plan on getting more mags for it but cant decide if I want to stay with the 7 rounders that I like or maybe try out an 8 rounder. I wondering how everyone feels about the 8 rounders as apposed to the 7's. Thanks in advance.

I have the PPS first edition (great little gun) and rarely used the 8 round magazine. Actually, the only time I used it was at the range. I'd load up all three mags, shoot 'til empty, reload, etc.

I never carried with the 8 round magazine.

I'm the opposite. I have the 7 rounder in the gun, and the 8 as back-up. The only reason is that the PPS is either in a SmartCarry or pocket holster as the M&P is IWB. If I do carry it IWB, I put the 8 in.

Gun control can be blamed in part for allowing 9/11 to happen.

I would say as long as it's not a concealment or functionability issue it's up to you but that extra round might be the one you need to finish the fight
