Tyler grips out of business?

I've read that Tyler t grips maker of the grip adapter is out of business in this true? If so does anyone know where I can find a grip adapter for my '72 shrouded ejector colt cobra?

This may or may not help you but, the Tyler T-Grip adapters constantly "pop up" (New In Box Old Stock) on Ebay a few at a time.

You might also want to look at some of the replacement exotic wood grips being offered these days as you'll notice that they incorporate a T-Grip profile right into the wood grips making the addition of a separate adapter unnecessary.

Hogue would likely have an exact grip configuration that you're looking for.

I believe Melvin Tyler passed away sometime back and his company closed not long afterward.

Exclamation

Their website is still active:

t grip tool box restoration at t-grips.com

I was thinking of getting one for a Smith Model 15 snubnose I picked up a month or so ago. I'll call and see if they're still up.

ETA: Oops, their site was up three days ago when I printed off a form...let me check!

ETA: I just called the company, and they are STILL THERE! Someone has hijacked their domain name. The company is working to restore their domain name (the company owner was not pleased, since they have had that domain name since the Internet started); in the meantime, PM me if you need their toll-free number or address.

To the best of my knowledge they are still making them. I just bought one about two months ago. Look them up on line. They make them on order only and you have to wait like two months for them.

The family did keep the business going? That's good to know, I was told they were closing it.
Thank you for the correction.

Until they get their domain name back (I note that the "hijack" is itself blocked as of two minutes ago), here is contact information:

I also thought they were gone. Good worthwhile information.
