I will second that. When I first got my ultra carry, the slide stop was very tight fitting and difficult to get back on. As a result, I did scratch the frame a bit. No big deal, but wish that I had been a bit more careful, so heed JD's advice.

Thanks again for all the b-day greetings. I just finished the initial cleaning of the new pistol and I must say, I think I'm in love. It may just be lust. I'll let you know after I shoot it.

I have a very good wife. She simply said, "Why don't you just pick what you want for your birthday."

Why yes, dear. I'll do that if it'll make you happy.

Happy birthday and I can't think of a better gift to give oneself. My B-I-L has one of those and it seems to be a great pistol for the bucks spent.

I gave myself a Colt 1911 for my 21st birthday...back in 1978.
