Walther PPK, CZ 83 carriers, stand up and be counted! - Page 4

I own a Bersa and a CZ-83. They both have been completely reliable for me. I also have a department-issued Walther PPK/S as a second gun for work. I must say it has a rather scarlet history. I've heard Walthers can be tempermental with ammunition, but this one has digested everything I've fed it, including Corbon 90gr. I really like all three pistols. If I could only keep one it would be the CZ.

I have a p230 and a CZ83. I carry the p230 a lot more since it conceals a lot better on me. Both work %100 and eith PMC Starfires and are more accurate than me. The recoil is mild and I shoot the best with the sig.

I expect the boos but I regularly tote a PPK/s in 32acp. I fill it with Magsafe. Interarms model. Works all the time and looks good.

How about a Polish P-64. It is a copy of the PPK and the 9x18 has more punch than the 380. Good gun to carry untill the Kel-Tec P3AT second generation came home with me.

I carry a PPK/S in a Pager-Pal holster everyday.

I have a pa-63 which is an aluminum framed copy (not a real close one) of a ppk. It looks very similar on the outside, but I am told parts will not interchange. The trigger pull is a little tough on DA but thus far I haven't been able to get it to jam.

My only real gripe with it is that it is to light for 9mm Mak. It stings your hand after a few rounds. After about 75-100 rounds I just have to put it away. It is a good size for carry and it is light enough.
I only keep it as a truck gun, with a few extra mags, though.

One other thing, on some of them, the safety/decocker can be a bit tough to disengage. I think the hammer spring is just way to stiff. I plan on picking up a few extra springs and playing with it a bit.

Nothing like learning a little gunsmithing on a 140$ firearm.

I have an Hungarian FEG which is a PPK knockoff. Great pistol, feeds anything. I keep it loaded w/ Cor-bon or Winchester Silver tips

I always have my Interarms PPK on me or near me at work or home. Currently have Winchester JHP's loaded. Other than the two-men-and-a-boy DA trigger pull on the first shot, I really enjoy shooting the thing. SA shooting is very crisp and accurate, right after the first DA shot whacks the target in the groin.

You have to do like the Army's great slogan: Aim High. Now I just need a paddle holster for the thing and I'll be set leather-wise.
