Steyr was in the US...? I know they've had different importers. Do you know if it means not exporting to us, or did they have some manufacturing shop here?

At the NRA convention in Louisville last May, Steyr was alive and well showing all their products. They were even discussing building their AUG rifle here in the USA. Pictured is one of their M9-A1s models which would be great for CC.

I haven't heard anything either out of SAI. And no mention in the Steyr Forums either..They really are such underrated guns. I have the M40A1 and can't say enough positive about it. I would love to get another..

Perhaps related to their sales to the Iranians?

Is that as bad as the U.S buying oil from them?

And at one time H&K used Iran to produce firearms.
COMPANIES - Heckler & Koch [Germany]
Sig also sells or at one time sold their handguns to Iran.

I haven't heard anything. I do love their rifles!

I have no idea why ANYONE would want to willingly stop importing firearms to the USA! Come on... we're the great satan! Where guns are sold out of ice cream trucks and bullets fall from trees and clog everyones gutters!

I can't imagine anyone choosing to give up the US gun market.

But who would have thunk Budweiser would sell out to the friggon Belgium's?
