Fantastic guns in any caliber.

My old 9mm MAK chambered CZ83.

Ammo was a PAIN to find for it in my area but places like J&G sell it online.

I'm going to have to get one of those but for now it will have to wait a month or so. I found a good deal on something else.

I have owned a CZ83 since 1995 in 380. Its one of my favorites for sure. After getting it I found an Article in the American Rifleman about its parent, the CZ 82. The 82 wasn't available in 1995. I was tickled when they began to get imported.

Both are very accurate. The 83 has a slight edge for a smoother trigger pull. My 82 and 83 are two of my carry guns. Loaded with Cor Bons, Silver Bear HP, and Fed Hydroshok.

Holsters can be a pain to aquire so I make my own. What is shown is a prefinished inside the pant holster. The belt attachment can be replaced with different loops to adjust the holster for carry cant, negative cant.
It was wet formed to be a mirror image of the gun inside and therefore keeps the gun in snug without a strap. I make my holsters with the rough side out to keep the rough leather from shearing off and ending up in the gun.
The great part is that it can be used with both the CZ 83 and 82.

Nice job and welcome!

A few 9mm Mak CZ83s come in each year.

Not much demand for them according to CZ-USA, but they seem to sell out quickly.

The 82/83 is a wonderful weapon. I've Never heard of anyone waiting a trigger job done.

If these were 9MM Para guns, CZ would sell them like hotcakes.

Low recoil in both 9mm Mak and .380 with easy follow-up shots
and amazing accuracy for a 'pocket pistol' chambered gun.

13 rounds of JHP is very comforting to carry.

I've got one, too. I've thought about using it as my CCW. That's because it wouldn't be as valuable as my S&W 640-1 or SIG P226.

Still looking, I reallocated the funds to AR receivers but a CZ 82 is in my future.

I got mine on my C&R when they first came out. The finish on the one I recieved left much to be desired, so I tried out an air dry paint from Brownells.

By the way, where did you guys get the wood grips i've seen in some of these pictures?
