Ahh OK Bud - yeah realize the work thing. Tho perhaps thinking too that all time not at work, you would be carrying.

Re the old lady thing well - I guess on reflection - could do worse than let a snub ''live'' under the pile of fresh towels - within quick reach from most areas of the room.

I think I'm with you on this one. On reflection we do have a lot of cleaning chemicals under the bathroom sink, so if I had just a little bit of warning, I could make the future of his vision a bit dicey.

Also my wonderpup, MISSY the Newfoundland dog, is always in the bathroom with me, I think she's waiting on an opportunity to practice her trade and "rescue" daddy from the evil tub. I think that in the situation with a BG....and looking at it from MR BG, I'd rather get shot than face all those edged weapons in a ticked off 140 pound dog.

I think keeping one in the bathroom is a little much. If you dont feel safe while in the shower or tub then take your carry piece in with you and keep it in the fold of a towel on the sink or somewhere close by.

Hey pierced456

Nice Avatar! I like it!

I am not armed in the shower.
I do keep my home perimeter alarm on.
And....the 4 legged Canine Alarm is also always working.
My dog is right outside the tub when I'm in the shower.
She will not move until I exit the shower.

Havin' a pistol handy in the shower worked well for John Wayne - it was The War Wagon, wasn't it? Wasn' the line somethin' like "No Hard Feelings"? Not too sure how hot water and black powder would get along in real life though.

Best,
Jon

Around the house, my pistol is on me when I am clothed. When I am in the shower, it's resting under a folded towel to keep mist off it. The shower door is transparent---when we got it my wife wanted the transparency to avoid "The Psycho Thing".

Plus, a BG seeing me naked and reaching for a towel might be fooled into assuming my motive was modesty.

For those who think carrying around the house or a pistol next to the shower is going too far: I admit I feel a little silly doing it, but I would feel incredibly stupid if I got myself killed because the pistol was in the other room when needed. What's the point of having a pistol, getting training, etc., if you don't give yourself at least the opportunity to actually use it if necessary?
