In regards to the Permit to Purchase a handgun in NJ (if this is what you are referring to); I believe these are given out at the local level. It would be the same place you got your fingerprints done I think. If that was the state police, then it will most likely take longer to get. If it wasn't give a call to the local police and you may be able to get a permit the same day. Worth a try anyway. Good luck.

I like the Equinox but I love the SAS. THAT'S the perfect carry gun, with it's melt job.

Ex,
I love the design and idea of the SAS, and I'd be ordering one instead of the equinox, but for now i prefer the DA/SA to the DAO. If they made the SAS in a DA/SA component with the site setup like the equinox I'd be picking one of those up. And I might still get one, after I've shot a Sig DAK trigger. Wayne, I'll let you know final price after I've picked it up, and paid it off all the way, but I think it's right around $900. (course that's NJ price...) --Jim

Why do you like the DA/SA better? Try the DAK on a "normal" Sig and then try it on the SAS. Worlds apart.
