Dan Wesson revolvers?

Anybody have anything to say about the quality and shootability of Dan Wesson?

Local pawnshop has a 4" Model 15 .357 for $250. Looks like about 95% condition.

Ive got a .357 6" inch vent heavy barrel.

It is the most accurate gun that Ive got. The barrels are interchangable. The barrel is in tension with a lock nut on the front over the muzzel and it makes for a very rigid barrel. The dual lockup of thge cylinder crane makes it the most secure there is. They are very strong revlovers.

Dont know if its still true, but for years the Dan Wesson had most of the accruacy records for the silhouette shooters.

Its a good solid gun. The resale on them is low because most people have never heard of them. They are exellent revolvers.

Sounds a very reasonable deal.

I have not owned a DW but have heard very few complaints from owners - usually the opposite. Be worth snagging that one I'd think.

I got to shoot one once and it was accurate. These are good guns so I would say go for it.
