Glock model 19C (compensated)

I was at the range a few weeks ago and the guy to my left was shooting a Glock 19. He asked if I would like to try it. I shot off a mag of 9mm's and was extremely impressed! Normally, I do not care for the bounce of the 9mm autos. This model was designed with a compensator and man did it shoot smooth with little to no recoil! Right of the bat I shot a nice tight group just under bullseye.

Does anyone know if Glock makes a compensated .45? I would definitely be interested if they did.

I don't believe they have a compensated .45.

Glocks website: http://www.glock.com/_45.htm

Glock offers the G21 full size model with a compensated barrel. Glock 21C.

If you are considering this pistol for carry I would suggest against the compensated model. Shooting from retention with a compensated pistol can send hot gases into your face and body.

For range work, different story.

Thanks for the input fellers. I did not think about the issue of the expelled gases. That is definitely something to think about!

That can be a problem but tell ya the truth im not gonna worry about it im gonna carry that little comped 44mag smith i got comp is very front of barrel with no side vents

If you want the 21c get it then pay the 90$ or so get a glock 21 barrel non comped then you can drop the non comped barrel into it if your worried about it

Well, guess I should have done a better search. I should have known that Glocks website wasn't up to date. Somewhere I have this spiffy chart that lists all the different Glocks. I had a copy printed but don't know where it got to.
