Yes, the laser grips can be modified. The new ones have the switch on the front strap and the only thing that would need to be done is trim a bit off of the bottom rear corner. You really don't have to take that much off the the original grips to make them work. Just email or PM me for the pricing. I am giving the forum members a discount on the price. I do have another member pistol in the shop for work and it will be another bobtail and refinish. Black shiny teflon/polymer slide from blued carbon and then the Scandium frame will be gray. Should be a nice piece. Thanks for all of the kind words and if you need anything at all, just give me a holler via email. I don't have the website all finished yet. I am working on the package prices and inclusions. I just wanted to get the names up there to see what people thought of the names and so that I could start to get some feedback on the packages. More to come.

Jess

Oh, Boy...I've sent Jess my 1911PD for the bobtail, crown and perhaps tritium sights. From the photos here, I know I made the right choice for gunsmith work. Great work, Jess, can't wait to get my Smith back and shoot it!

Greg, I am the proud and exceedingly happy owner of the pictured pistol. I promise you that you will be VERY happy with the result. Every time I look at, or handle, mine I fall a little bit more in love. It rides on my hip in a Brommeland Max Con V, www.brommelandgunleather.com , every where I go. I also put a set of custom engraved and Bobtailed Alumagrips from www.gungrips.net on it and it is now truly a thing of beauty. I find that with the bobtail, it shoots much better too. Jess also cleaned up the trigger some and that was as good an improvement as the other work, you might consider having him do that too.

I must say you do some of the best work I've seen. And you pay attention to all the little details. Running across any rough spots and such things. Again, very nice work you're doing there.
