Anyone heard of The Leather Arsenal holsters?

I have an opportunity to get an IWB holster from The Leather Arsenal for my Sig 228. Retail for the holster is in the $70 range, but I am going to be able to get mine much, much, much lower. Anyone have any experiences with these? I went on their website and found that M. Ayoob had good things to say. All comments would be greatley appreciated.

Aside from Ayoob many others have had good things to say about these. I keep seeing them on e-bay for extremely low prices and it makes me wonder if they are the original or a cheap knock-off. The design is kind of weird also, but it is the original design as I looked it up in a book I have on holsters. They are supposed to be very comfortable and concealable. If you give them a try let us know what you think.

I have been told that Leather Arsenal owner/holstermaker Elmer McEvoy was one of Milt Sparks first employees. Note that both are in Idaho.

eBay is where I saw them. These had a couple of stains on the leather from packing glue and that was why the guy was selling them cheap.

good price on them but the ones shown had no sweat guard on them, which I prefer.

Elmer has a reputation for being a real perfectionist. I've never seen an actual example of his work, but would not hesitate to give it a try. It's supposed to be really good stuff.

I looked at them again and although the stains are pretty funky who cares, no-one will see them and the guy selling them was honest about it. Can't go wrong for the price. Looks just like a Sparks Summer Special except for the weird hook at the bottom.
