This is a great thread, very informative. But I see a lot of setups that work in front of the mirror but won't allow for using pockets, so I wonder if they ever hit the street.
Also, those svelt gals have it made. Man I wish I had a waist! |

Ruger SP-101 (5 shot 357 snubbie) closeup, as worn:  ...and showing the custom gun-retention system I've worked so hard to develop:  This is a DIY "need-to-pay-off-VISA-first" version of the SmartCarry (which I want):  See www.netdataconsultants.com/holster for construction details. Yes, that is a belly roll over the grip, but the wearing of this holster is quite comfortable: I find myself forgetting I am carrying, even though the Ruger is fairly massive. Future versions of this holster will probably include a fleece sleeve for a wider belt, but as a proof-of-concept this one certainly works well.
