This is a great thread, very informative. But I see a lot of setups that work in front of the mirror but won't allow for using pockets, so I wonder if they ever hit the street.

Also, those svelt gals have it made. Man I wish I had a waist!

Yes, that is a belly roll over the grip, but the wearing of this holster is quite comfortable: I find myself forgetting I am carrying, even though the Ruger is fairly massive. Future versions of this holster will probably include a fleece sleeve for a wider belt, but as a proof-of-concept this one certainly works well. And it was free, since I had the materials laying around.

My spare mag covers a pocket most times, other than that, everything is in a pocket or under it. However, I used to carry a Glock 23 in such a way that it blocked a pocket as well. Really isn't that big of a deal to just not use it.
