Great responses to question - thanks
Guys, I really appreciate the responses. It's great to know that I don't have far to go to get opinions based on real-life use.
I should've been more specific in my question up front: For an IWB holster, do you prefer leather loops with snaps, or kydex full clips. I personally don't like metal for that purpose, and for an OWB holster it's slots all the way. The holster I've been using (a blade-tech UCH) works well, but it's a bit bulky and it shifts too much on the belt (only one point of attachment on the belt). cw |

I prefer leather loops. They don't scratch my belt, and is only a hassle while putting it on. If I had to take my holster on and off a lot, I would just get a paddle holster.
But I just ordered an Andrews McDaniel II which has just 1 leather loop. This should be interesting. BTW, he is a very nice fellow to talk to. With the stupid questions I asked, I expected him to be "short" with me. Not the case, a definate gentleman.

I prefer snap loops. When done right, like Gary and some others do, the holster stays where you put it. One way snaps are plenty secure and I can take off and put on my holster while sitting in my car with little to no trouble at all.

On an IWB, I like the snap loops on a leather holster. A good portion of things I do in the course of a day require that I take the gun off and on through out the day. The snaps make quick work of getting on and off efficiently.
I have been playing with OWB carry lately, and to that point, it has been a paddle holster from Comp-Tac, and I couldn't be happier with my choice.
