Attachment preference for leather holsters?
For those of you that prefer leather holsters (oh yeah, you're out there), do you prefer the traditional leather loop attachments to attach to your belt, or the kydex clips, and why?
I'm getting ready to order a leather holster (I've carried a Kydex holster for over a year) and both attachment options seem to have advantages so I thought I'd ask everyone's opinion. Thanks! Clint |

I just can't bring myself to trust clips. It seems like everything I have ever tried with them wasn't secure enough.

I am an OWB man and so it's loops all the way.
Comfort and reliability - all in one.

I prefer loops; although, I do have holsters that have clips, and I do use them. When using a clip, I prefer a "J" clip that hooks positively around the belt. That being said, I still prefer loops--they are more secure, IMO, and much less likely to "come along" when you draw the firearm. YMMV.
