It works.
Helps to break in the holster.

Galco has a version that is less expensive as does Rusty Sherrick

I have used it and it doesn't work all that great. You are better off using the plastic bag trick to make your gun fit. Wrap the gun in a large ziplock bag, then place it in the holster (unloaded of course), you might have to use a little force but thats OK, let it sit a minimum of overnight, it may take longer but it will "thin out" the holster to allow your gun to fit properly. All the holster makers recommend this.

I have a Don Hume H721OT that all the wax paper in the world would not solve it from being so tight I could barely draw the Gun.
Got Liquid lightning from Mitch Rosen Gun Leather. It works -and only takes a few Minutes. The following is from a description on Rosen's site.

"Leather Lightning™ is applied to the inside of a holster to produce a very slick draw. Even the most tightly boned holsters, a hallmark of my gunleather, will now be able to be effortlessly broken in as you carry your handgun...without compromising a fast, smooth presentation. Leather Lightning is a surface treatment for leather and will therefore not be absorbed by the leather, nor harm the finish of your firearm. This will not alter the original fit. Mitch Rosen is the sole distributor of Leather Lightning. Leather Lightning is a trademark of Phoenix Armory, Inc.
ORDER: LL™
PRICE: $12.00 plus $2.00 shipping and handling"

Rust Sherrick sells "hide Glide"
Same thing at a lower price.

It does help with break in.

Do these tips work with a magazine holder? Mine is extremely tight.

Leather lightning works well. Back in the day Mitch used to give a free bottle out with each order. I have some from when it was free. It does help but I still do the plastic bag trick to stretch out my leather then give it a thin coat of LL

I used it on a very tight VMII and it worked great. Cuts down on the break in time. I didn't have to use the plastic bag trick.
