| Defensive Carry Holsters & Carry Options There are some really good defensive carry holster designs, as well as some very bad ones on the market today. Whether you are in the market for a new holster or just discovered another perfect carry option, let us know about it here. |

Chris your to fast, I went in and read all the other post and edited while you were posting, LOL.
Gary, I know where your comming from and I (highly) respect you, I agree mostly with your comments about the smartcarry/thunderwear, but for some people carrying strong side just isnt an option. Some folks work in business environments that prevent untucked carry and wearing a coat all day not an option. For those folks, even a tuckable holster wont work due to printing and the belt attachment. We work daily around sharp eyes and most do our best to not appear like we're carrying as it makes doing what we do harder and being spoted can cost us more than the basic few days on the beach (without pay). In that situation, a person has a choice, to wear a vest of some sort (out of place and hot in the summer) or deep concealment. The two most used deep concealment are the t-shirt holsters (UC Comfort being the choice when paid for) or the Thunderwear/Smartcarry. But the most important part is practicing with what you carry. Big part. Ok I'll jump off my box now.

OK guys - you've got me here
:for an "office casual" environment, I would have to admit that a "Smartcarry" would work, IF carried with the weapon in "condition three". (It would be kinda slow, however.)Another option would be a pocket holster and an ankle rig. The pocket holster is great from a standing position, but inaccessable when crouching/sitting. An ankle rig is way too slow from a standing position, but super fast when seated or crouching. Together, they work very, very well. Personally, I am not in favor of anything "tuckable". It is, IMHO, simply a gimmick. However, what works for one person does not necessarily work for another. Try a few differing approaches and see what works for you. |

With the points made by Gary, thus is why I wear a UC Comfort. Can access it while sitting, laying on my back and I dont have to go to a small gun on my ankle. As for the Smartcarry/Thunderwear, I have one, use it occasionally, but find the draw a little more difficult than with the t-shirt.
With all that said, once I ditch my business clothes for the real me (ie jeans, black t-shirts and vest, out comes my IWB holster and OTB ammo pouches.
