NH resident is 4 years for $10, MA non-resident is only 1 year for $100 I think.

5 years in Michigan. That's $105.00 . . . more expensive than many others, but when you figure it's $21 per year it doesn't sound quite as bad, I guess.

When I originally posted this thread, I wasn't thinking about cost, but that's a very valid issue. In SC it cost me $50 for the CCW course, another $15 for, passport photo and fingerprint cards. And another $50 for my permit, pretty reasonable, if you ask me.

MA - Residents $100 for 6 years, NR $100 for 1 year!

NH - Residents $10 for 4 years, NR $20 for 4 years!

FL - 5 years, don't recall cost.
