I like the article, but with it should come a sort of counter-point. Too many people that do go armed don't get enough training, or don't really know how to fight without their gun, or don't keep themselves in decent enough shape to be a formidable opponent. If you want to win the "unarmed" martial arts world, you have to recognize that you need BOTH sides, which I'd say without hesitation less than %1 of gun owners/carriers really are.
Yeah, everyone here can say how many martial arts they take, what their rank is, how much they lift, and how often they run, but I can say I'm the Princess of India, too. A common theme amongst carriers seems to be a bit overweight and out of shape, a good article would be to be ready to FIGHT, not just SHOOT.
