No kidding? I know where I may be buying my vacation property. Of course the beautiful wilderness and mountains wouldn't break my heart either

So I go to the medium small theaters and assume its less than 2500.
im not familiar with your area tho sorry.
One theater around here actually does have the 'this facility has a seating capacity of over 2500 people' thing posted on every door. shucks.
Yeah, they really dropped the ball with so of the wording and regs. Most the threaters here are below the 2500 count . But I imagine most of the bigger cities easily have the 2500 seats or more. what about the alcohol rules. How ya gonna know what business' make 50% or more income in liquor ?

Wow, I just got back from our anuual summer visit to Michigan, and have carried every time we went to the movies. It never occured to me that the 2,500 prohibition would apply to all of the individual theatres within the multiplex building. Scary.

I am aware of the rule and I still carry, I will not go defenseless, fortunately all of the theaters in our city are all under the 2500 number with all seats totaled. It is better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

I guess that I will also continue to carry next summer when we are back in Michigan. I think that the reasonably believe language would be a legitimate defense unless the theater was posted.
