Bumper Stickers - Good Or Bad?

I was walking by a car, the other day, in a shopping center parking lot. On the back was a bumper sticker that read "This vehicle protected by Smith & Wesson" I say, why would you advertise, that you may have a gun in your vehicle, or on your person. What are your thoughts???

Dunno. I have an NRA sticker on my pickup, but so does everyone else around here. Did see a "I'm a sheepdog" bumper sticker in the local gun shop yesterday. I felt that was a little overboard, but diff. strokes for diff. folks.

Some anti-gun nut may just let you know what he/she thinks of your right to gun owner ship, in a destructive way.

Old, but good:

I believe in peace
peace through superior firepower.

And on topic, I don't have anything on me or my car that advertises I carry a gun.

Kind of dumb in my opinion.... likewise I wouldn't have a license plate personalized to say "GLOCK" or "SIG FAN" etc. like I see at the shooting range a lot. NRA stickers are common, but you're just increasing the chances of a break in... and while you're in McD's eating after a good range session... there goes your nice Sig...

No bumper stickers on my vehicles; that violates my grey man principle.

Have an NRA sticker on the rear window of my truck. Had some interesting conversations because of it. I guess it's kind of like open carry, some for - some against.

I don't fault those that do but not for me. As far as I am concerned it is an open invitation to a burglary of car or home.
