I read somewhere, about a month ago, that SC was changing their reciprocity laws. IIRC it stated they were going to honor any states valid permit and last I knew, it was going before the state senate to be voted on. I haven't seen or heard anything about it since then. Was this voted on and dropped or is it still in the works, anyone know??

It was reported favorably from the committee, so it should pass-- assuming it gets a vote. I don't know the Pro Tempore's view of the bill. If it is given a vote, and passes, the Governor will sign it.

I'm in the same boat as you my friend, I live in SC, and travel to Florida alot for work, but since SC doesn't honor Florida's permit, my permit's no good there, that's why I wish this bill would pass. What would be even nicer, was if the federal reciprocity bill would pass, but I don't see that happening soon.
