One person made the comment on there that if we were allowed to carry that there would be a lot of shot up road signs. Another "serious crime" that would no doubt occur because of us. Gotta just step back and laugh at some of these individuals.

Guaranteed, there will probably be a couple that will do exactly that. They'll be properly strung up by the toes for killing endangered animals. For the vast majority, though, like us, life will go on as usual. Having the ridiculous prohobition against self defense removed would no more cause us to lash out with our firearms than having grey socks on would cause us to trip.

Well, maybe their right and instead of a gun, you need to take one of them with you to protect you, fight off thieves and other BG's... or throw to a hungry bear?

Naw... that wouldn't work because you're not supposed to feed the bears!

I think Yellowstone qualifies as the nations largest gun-free zone, no?

I go there, and love it. interestingly, I didn't know I could not carry there until I got my CCW.. I have frequently been in yellowstone armed because of that. Now that I know, though.....

There's a woman in that discussion that said she feels safer there than in the city because of the lack of guns. Apparently crime is skyrocketing in national parks. Here's a good article on the subject:

And that is the problem with the anti-gunners, their stink'n feelings. Doesn't matter whether they're actually safer or not, it's all about how they feel which is the root of ALL stupid gun laws.

Well, the logical thing for us to do is to ban knives of all kinds. This just in... Thanksgiving will not be celebrated this year as no one will be able to carve their turkeys.

Well, I am planning on putting up a "No Bears" sign. That ought to protect me!
