Wife's Wally World trip

Miggy's map in hand, off we go!

Good trip. I wouldn't let her purse or pocket carry.......it's just not the same thing for the Wally Walk..... So she strapped on my Supertuck/K9 combo and then spent the next 30 minutes finding an ensemble appropriate to the occasion.....while I waited patiently.

We actually did Sam's instead of Wally World. She seemed very comfortable the whole time and probably a lot more at ease than I remember being lo those many many years ago. That may be because she's so used to the concept of cc from being with me all this time. No nachos because we were headed out for a pizza to celebrate afterwards....

Interestingly......we went to our favorite pizza place that we go to every week (Ok, we're in a rut when it comes to pizza, but you just don't mess with good pizza) and walked up to our normal booth when she starts to get in on my usual side! When I asked her what she was doing, she just looked a little shocked and said, she didn't know. I asked her to think about it a little and she said, "well, I guess I just wanted my gun side next to the wall, plus I can see the door better from here." Completely intuitive for her......I think she's gonna do well!

Now we just have to find her the right carry gun. 100% her choice, so it ought to be interesting. Updates as they occur.....

wow great trip...but taking YOUR side of the booth??? I don't think I could handle that!!! you might need to find a location that allows you to both see the door...but I couldn't sit with my back to the door....it would drive me nuts, and I wouldn't be able to enjoy my pizza!

And Sam's is a DC approved substitute.

Maybe one day my wife will make the decision to carry her pistol. She's had her license for two weeks now and hasn't carried it anywhere but on the range, and at two Fighting Pistol type classes.

Congrats to your wife though ;)

Sounds like when she does, she'll be well prepared!

I wouldn't be too worried.

Congrats to the Mrs. Glad to hear that she was that comfortable with cc. My first time, I thought I had to be printing and everyone was watching.
