Finally...first day with CC

I finally got my CPL today, 61 days from prints to finish.

My CC is a Kimber Ultra Carry II in a UBG IWB. Pretty comfortable for the most part, but I need a belt for sure. I noticed myself adjusting my shirt quite often, so I need to get over that. Went to the Meijer, Walmart and dinner...and my wife didn't even know I was carrying until I pulled the holster off around 10pm.

I'm excited to finally be able to defend myself and family while away from home. Now I need a lock box for the car and all those silly no carry zones.

Congrats! The Kimber Ultra Carry II was my first CCW. Really easy to conceal and fun to shoot.

Sweet choice in guns. I am looking for one of those as we speak. If you know anyone looking to offload one please email me @ ibowhuntbambi@aol.com. Now go and enjoy your RTKBA

I absolutely love the Kimber UC. It's my first 1911, and it definitely won't be the last.

Congrats. Most people are "made" because they keep adjusting their clothes. You'll get used to it.

Now practice your draw, failure drills, and situational awareness.

Yep, it takes awhile to get the feel for it. I was forever wanting to adjust myself. :)

I'm considering some instruction from professionals in the near future. I'd like to become a better overall shooter.

I've been practicing general technique, but I'm going to have to take advantage of my vision plan since I really can't see a target very well past 15 yards.

Congrats on your new carry permit. Nate makes great carry holsters.

Carry in good health and avoid trouble when you can!

Congrats from another Michigander.

I find myself adjusting mine when i get out of the truck. A simple bit of forward cant to keep the butt of the gun from printing.
