Well, Dr. Wifeypoo (those that know me know her name well) is finally part of our armed and sensible group, officially. The mailing came Friday, but was crammed in between bills, credit card offers and a ton of other stuff designed to separate me from my hard-earned cash.

I think I was more excited than she was to see it. A SHINY NEW LICENSE!!! I only wish I could get mine for the first time all over again.

So, tomorrow will be a fun day of gun shopping. She'll be at work, treating horses and earning more in a day than I earn in a month, so I figger I've got some room to work. She's been shooting lots of makes and models, and we've decided that the Beretta PX4 shall be her first carry gun. It fits her hand, her style and her asthetic requirements (too bad they don't make it in pink), so I think we have a winner.

I've talked her into sitting in on this forum from time to time, but she's still convinced that most online communication is for kids that never grew out of D&D...socially stunted ubergeeks (guess what, honey...you married one!). I'll be certain to introduce her around, but for now, it is fine to clue ya'll in to the fact that she's joined the Dogs and left the flock.

Congrats... seeing that new bright card is a great feeling. Best of luck on the purchase, I'm trying to figure out what to get for my next purchase. Need to find something that I can the girlfriend to shoot, that I wouldn't mind shooting either if I just can't get her to shoot.
