We need a list..........

We need to put a list together of EVERY documented time a person's life was SAVED because of a handgun or firearm......whatcha think?
Forget about trying to get a list of the UNdocumented times.....

There's a fellow named Clayton Cramer that used to put all of them on his blog.....at least the ones he found out about.

The NRA in their "American Rifleman" magazine has a section called "The Armed Citizen" that tells true stories of how firearms saved lives. Maybe they would be willing to release an entire accounting of these stories. Here's a link that may help with research:

The Brady Bunch has a list on their website with dates of violent crimes committed with firearms.....I thought it would be nice to have a BIGGER list that mentions all the times a handgun or long gun was used to defend and protect. ARMED CITIZEN is great, but we need to list many, many occurrences. Bury them in facts.....

Probably not reinvent the wheel, but maybe put it in a format that could stand toe to toe with the Brady list. A lot people don't trust blogs as a valid source of information, and the NRA doesn't have the information in a list type format.

I could definitely see where this would be useful. And if it's documented and fact checked, it could be more valuable than the Brady list.
