Got It!!
My Florida license came in the mail today. Only problem is since I moved to Tampa from NY I have to change the address on it next month when I get my Florida license. ANyone know how long that takes to get the address change, and am I allowed to continue to carry during this change?

Go to the horse's mouth... PH: 850-488-5381 (FL Dept. of Ag...)...off the record, I'd say 10 days for the corrected one...call today, carry today...but I'd get a new copy to avoid confusion...

Congratulations.
As for the address change, it is easy and painless. You can change your address on line here: Change of Address - Division of Licensing, DOACS As long as you keep your address current with the Dept. of Ag., you are fine to carry regardless of the address on your actual card. In fact, they do not automatically send you a new card when you change addresses. Matt

THank you...... It has been very weird since I moved. I have carried every day for the last year in NY and I moved to Florida and had to leave it at home or in the car. It is almost more relief than excitement.

I mailed it March 18 with electronic prints. Over 90 days but I was an exception. I had a misdemeanor on my record. I didnt send the disposition because the directions said "violent misdemenor" and my final charge wasn't violent. I got a letter after around 45 days saying they needed it. I faxed it 2 days later and it looks like the license was issued June 10. It also had to be mailed to NY and then forwarded back here to FL. And on top of every thing, since my original charge was because of a fight (9 years ago, young and dumb) they had to write to NY to be sure it wasnt domestic and wait for them to respond. SOOOOOOOOOOO because I am an idiot it took this long.
