You CAN carry open into any establishment that has a license to serve alcohol on premises. If they SELL alcohol for off premises then you CAN carry concealed. Thats the way I read it to be, and was told by a fire arms safety instructor who is also a fire arms lawyer. Now they are trying to pass a law that says you CAN carry concealed into an establishment that has a license to serve on premises as long as you inform at least 1 employee

Yes, I worded my statement somewhat vaguely in an attempt to encompass all scenarios. Your statement is a clearer version of what I was trying to say. E.g., Walmart- ABC-off, so concealed, open, or leave your gun in the car (most of we wouldn't do the last). E.g. 2, ABC store- ABC-off, so same as Walmart.

As far as I know, no, the law was vetoed because Kaine knows what's better for your or my or anybody's good.

WalMart doesn't care if you legally carry cocealed. Their policy is no open carry unless your Police. It's their store and I agree with this.

I'm not aware of Wal*Mart having such a policy.
