you hit the head right on the nail! they will ignore me totally. there is a lot of military in my neighborhood and even they won't even acknowledge my existence unless i really make myself known.

when we have our HOA meetings, we're lucky is 10 households out of 480 show up.. no one cares.

I live in a fairly affluent neighborhood, but people cut through it to bypass a stop sign on the main road. We get a lot of non-resident traffic, and the surrounding area isn't that great, as if that really mattered. When I get my CHL, I'll definitely be re-assured by having a gun on my walks.

I trust my neighbors, but you never know. We've had a lot of mortgage fraud, and the result is that they rent out expensive homes to folks from the ghetto. Plus, I looked on Texas' website for tracking sexual predators, and I found out they're all around, spread out over the whole community.

I rest assured knowing my immediate neighbors will keep an eye out, but you just never know who you'll encounter once you leave the house.

LTC=Mass. pistol permit-License To Carry. We have two classes of lic. small and large capacity with restrictions ie. hunting, target shooting etc. Class A Large Capacity with "Any Lawful Purpose" as reason for issuing licence would = most states carry lic. Local police Chief makes the call on what you get.

No place is really safe. Stay alert and armed, and you should be fine in most areas.
