Some agencies do let their guys carry, but most will let them take them home in a box or in their duty belt and in uniform. there are a number they will not let them take their guns home at all.

If I was CCW in a bus, the only thing you could do is stay at your seat, facing the threat, let the crowd go by, identify and engage as required while moving into the centre aisle, so you can escape if needed.

Just sit in the back with the "boys" and share a bottle of Mad Dog with them. Then you'll be bros and they'll watch your back!

I'm pretty sure to stab someone with a knife sharp enough to decapitate will not be done silently. With a gun in the bus, after the first stab there would be plenty of noise and jumping to wake everyone up and at that point, there would have been far fewer stab wounds and most certainly the decaptation would not have taken place. It's hard when you are in a confined bus setting and at night with a moving bus probably at 60 mph and over 30 other pple.

I'm no fan of meth, but if meth use really caused this sort of thing, I think we'd see a lot more of it. I'd say meth didn't cause it any more than the knife caused it.

He's a murderer. Who knows what the "trigger" was. Could have been that bad burrito at age 7, or the neighborhood dog that bit him in the buttocks at age 12, or the laughingstock he made himself in school when he could learn properly. Well, he's got a learning disability for sure, but now it's harming others. He'll be treated as a mad dog. That's the proper response.
