It doesn't matter - they can't base the decision to issue a concealed handgun license off of whether or not he's getting paychecks at the time.

Again.........N/A. If you are currently unemployed, then that's the answer I would give. It seems rather simple. Employer means who you work for now. Not in the future, not in the past. If you don't currently work for anyone legally, then N/A is the only answer, and I don't think that will deter the process in any way.

I think they DO use this question to screen...

NH used to be a 10-day turn around, now they are at about 70 days.

If you put down "none" they may recruit you to work for them and start processing pistol applications :-)

i just mailed in my louisiana application for concealed permit...this is what i put on mine. NOT EMPLOYED, STAY AT HOME FATHER....that is the truth. I should have put MR MOM on there as well just for fun but i didn't ha ha
