All 351 cities/towns in MA WILL issue some sort of gun permit. Almost all will issue an LTC-A. Many will restrict it to "non-carry" but they will still issue a permit (those are usually restricted to target and hunting). The requirements to get one is a PITA, but not "unobtainium". ONLY (by statute) places that you can't carry (if you have an LTC-A ALP or no restrictions) are any educational facilities (K-college). A few other places (like some courthouses and a few state/city buildings) have security and will not allow you to bring weapons inside . . . but that is by policy and not statute. Signage has no legal meaning by statute. One needs a permit to merely possess or buy OC, ammo or any guns. You can not keep guns in your house/business w/o a permit in MA. |
