FL is a "Concealed Weapon or Firearm License". Does not limit to just firearms.

Arizona is a Concealed Weapons Permit. Note it is plural, bugs and other things allowed. We have the RIGHT to carry. The permit allows us to be sneaky and hide whatever weapon of choice we may have.

WA = CPL (Concealed Pistol License)
It's six one way half-a-dozen the other... a license also infers you had to seek permission - just like a permit. Open Carry is also legal w/out license/permit. The usual prohibitions apply - courts, etc.

Ohio and PA issue licenses (both are shall issue).
Ohio is, nominally, an open carry state but open carry has no state wide preemption. Any local municipality can limit or deny open carry. Not so with licensed concealed carry.

In either case it is a permit to carry concealed. As I think on it isn't a license a permit to do something like drive? You cannot drive legally without the license.

Mass. it's LTC license to carry firearms Conn. it's State permit to carry pistols & revolvers Wow, that guy from NY blew off some steam, I thought I had it bad in Ma. Where's that old cartoon guy w/ fist as an avatar I'm sure he doesn't approve!
