They probably lost the postit note on the board that said TN was ok...

Woah, holy crap - I just noticed this:

Quote:
Virgin Islands Temporary Permit

Persons with a valid Virginia concealed carry permit may apply individually to the United States Virgin Islands Police Department for temporary reciprocal recognition of a CCDW license while in the Virgin Islands. This temporary recognition is normally for ninety (90) days from the date of issue.

An application for temporary privileges may be requested from:

Office of the Commissioner
Criminal Justice Complex
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, VI 00802

Regarding US Virgin Islands:

U.S. Virgin Islands CCW Honored?

There were some older posts but I don't remember where. I contacted them a while back & it was not going to be worth the hassle.

Unless something has changed since last year??????

Not sure, but I contacted both the VSP and my state Rep. Marcia Blackburn. I checked the site this morning and it was still off there, then about 20 minutes after I got my email back from VSP Tennessee was back on the list.

It's possible Marcia called over there, she is very pro IIA.

I had heard that Tennessee was sent a form by Virginia to update the reciprocity, and it "got lost on a bureaucrat's desk" here in Tennessee. When the storm erupted, Tennessee expedited the processing of the form and got it back to Virginia post haste.

There may be no truth to it, but that is essentially what was reported on Tennessee Gun Owners forum.
