Virginia Drops Reciprocity With Tennessee

The Virginia State Police have dropped Tennessee from their reciprocity listing. I have heard nothing about this from anyone and I have inquired via email to the VSP about this.

That's quite disappointing. I think there should be nation-wide reciprocity for CCW permits. I guess I'm dreaming . . .

My guess is one state or another had CCL requirements more strict then the other. That does kind of blow for you guys tho. I hope PA isn't next on the chopping block.

They didn't just to do it for nothing. Something must have happened.

I just sent an email to the Virginia State Police "Contact Us" button requesting information. If not an error, this is very disappointing.

It looks like Virginia dropped Tenn. So Virginians with a permit can still carry in Tenn., BUT Tennesseans can't carry in Va.
