Do you exercise good muzzle control when carrying?

Just wondering. I find it difficult at times. I guess in theory if you have a gun pointed at your leg all the time the answer is no. But seriously, do you conscientiously avoid situations where your muzzle may point at someone?
How about when pocket carrying? Almost impossible if you pocket carry at church, there seems to always be someone in front of you.

I don't think about it with the weapon in a IWB holster, I don't have people hugging my right leg very often
don't pocket carry, no horizontal shoulder holster, just not an issue with me

If loose gun laws are good for criminals, why do criminals support gun control?

Not an issue for me. I cover my hip constantly while standing or walking---that would just be a graze hopefully, if my pistol did decide to go off by itself. When sitting, I'd just get a good powder burn. No other person is ever swept with my muzzle the ways I carry.

It's holstered. So, by definition, yes.

When walking in a crowd, it's pointing at somebody's foot at all times. When bending over, it's pointing at the next three rearward folks' legs. If pocket carrying, when seated it's pointing at everyone in front of me. Yet, it's holstered.

Guns are safe in a holster. I don't sweep people with my gun out of the holster. It's like saying if you have your gun in a Smart Carry, you're jewels are always in jeapordy....

My 1911 is in a good IWB holster with the manual safety on, or if I am carrying my revolver it is in a pocket holster. In both cases, the trigger is protected in the holster, and since I don't believe that either gun will go off by itself, I really don't think much about it.

Ditto here. It's in the holster, I forget about it. IWB tucked, full trigger guard coverage, safety on and firing pin disengaged.

Question

It's a non-issue with a properly holstered firearm.
Do you ever walk around armed on the second floor of your home with family members on the first floor?

Is your floor bullet proof?
Are the people on the 1st floor wearing Kevlar helmets?

No but I do have a 3 year old that likes to go on walks with me. I make a point for more than one reason, that she walk on the opposite side of which I carry.

I don't think it to be possible for my M&P to discharge in my M-Tac but I thought a bit of input from you guy's would either condemn some of my actions or reinforce my thoughts.
