Well the criminals and mass murderers are carrying already aren't they... the petition is clearly against disarming victims. I understand your point, though. Concealed carry license holders have proven their worth by qualifying (in most states) and having deep background check performed, but open carry (in Ohio at least) is perfectly legal, although it does not require any training or qualifying. All you need to pass is the background check to buy a gun, or be gifted a gun from a friend or relative. I do understand wanting everyone carrying to have a lot more checked out on them, but it is legal, and it is our right. Voting NO to this survey does nothing but help the anti-'s disarm victims, and keep the criminals' workplace safe for them.

They did that to get people to say no.

universitys will only be " armed " in co when k-12 schools are . My daughter does a juco in colorado , she is armed because nothing prohibits it in her student hadndbook . Another friend who teaches there occationally says in his teachers materials he signs off on a no weapons policy . I wont speak to colorado further than to say that in some areas its against policy , in some areas it is policy and in any PUBLIC k-12 its a felony .

Colorado's state pre-emption law allows CC on college universities. Most lawyers that I talked to don't believe that the universities regents have the authority to restrict carry on campus (despite a letter of opinion by the Attorney General stating otherwise).

Most of the lawyers say that the Gun free zones are only enforceable on the student body (in form of the university code of conduct) and not on the general public.

With that said, I doubt CU or CUPD would miss a chance to try and argue otherwise in court. And if you where caught CC on their campus I’m sure that you would be arrested.

I'm all for it. As a college student at the University of Northern Colorado, I would love to see the biggest public university in the state remove their policy restricting licensed concealed carry on their campus. Hopefully my campus would follow suit.

WRONG the poll reads

Suppose that answers one of my questions about gun control advocates

So you are a gun control advocate? Do you support the same gun control laws requiring permits registration qualification back ground checks etc that the Brady Bunch rapists robbers and murders support? I hope not. The gun control laws that have yet to stop a single criminal from getting a gun but has proven to have gotten thousands of people raped robbed maimed, mutilated and murdered. IMO opinion gun control advocates are no different than the rapists robbers and murders they aid, abet and support.
I wonder when a young college girl gets raped because she was made defenseless unarmed prey by gun control laws do gun control advocates jump up and cheer?
