Got my CHP yesterday!

Went to the post office yesterday after work and got the letter from the Clerk of the Court saying to come by and pick my permit up. I went right then. I had to take a moment and compose myself as I was grinning like an idiot and didn't want to give the Clerk the wrong impression about me getting the permit. My dad and I were joking around about it, talking about running out and getting my badge and handcuffs now. The Clerk himself (a very nice man) got it for me, as the Deputy Clerk was busy. They were all very kind through the process and seemed to be progun in that aspect. It was a good feeling.

I was so excited I went to the local gun shop and picked up a Fobus Paddle holster so that I could start carrying my M&P 9c, which I did for the rest of the night at home. I work at a nursing home and cannot carry at work , but I will be carrying everywhere else legal. Praise the Lord!
