Do you carry a different gun at work?

Say it is legal for you to carry at work. Now it is against company policy, but perfectly legal. If you get caught, you risk getting fired, but that is it.

Would you carry a different gun at work a bit differently than you normally carry? For example, say you normally carry a Glock 26 IWB at 5 o'clock. It could print and give you away. Would you perhaps pocket carry a Ruger LCP or Smartcarry?

(Not that I am thinking of doing this. All guns are, uh, er, random choices.)

S&W M&P .40 at 3:30 and PPS in left pocket normally. When at work, just the PPS in a SmartCarry. Assorted knives normally. When at work, KaBar TDI with the SmartCarry behing extra mag. Theoretically anyway, that would be the best choice for me;).

Unfortunately, I work for a municipality, and it's a firing offense to even have one in the vehicle on property.
State of Ohio has a pre-emption clause that the municipality chooses to ignore. The municipality passed an ordinance to criminalize employees having one on property under any circumstance.
Until Ohio Supreme Court gets off its bureaucratic backside and rules on Ohioans for Concealed Carry vs Village of Clyde, this bad law remains on the books and enforceable.
I for one have not the deep pockets to be a test case, nor can I risk losing my job, my paycheck, my house, both cars and my wife, in that order.
So.
To answer your question, what do I carry at work?
An irritated expression.

Now that's funny.

Seriously though; Gun Free Zones = Baaaaa.....

I agree about when you can't carry a firearm for some reason; I always still have my Kershaw folder and my most important weapon.....my wits.

Oddly enough, in MI the first offense for carrying in a no-carry zone has a penalty of $500. First offense for getting caught at work = $60K+ per year.

I will say that my usual EDC gun is an XD, anytime that I need to be more sure that I don't get discovered, I usually switch to my P3AT.

I carry a Taurus PT-111 at work, because I must conceal, not because that it is against policy for me to carry.

Since I'm the boss, I carry what I feel like.
I keep one loaded nearby while working and have it on my hip when coming and going. One of the privileges of owning the business and making the rules.
