But 89 days, 1 day less than the max, wait seems very odd. I hope they weren't just messin w/you.

Mine was five weeks but I live in a rural county. But everyone I know w/a CHL on the eastern slope got theirs at around 60 days.

Let's hope that the delay was b/c of a massive increase in CHL applications.

Well, when I applied I was told 90 days due to an increase of applications. The gentleman in front of me today was also there to pick up his permit and I overheard him talking to a female. He also stated that his wait was 89 days and she stated that she waited 85 days. So, who knows?

Anyway my wife knew the permit was coming soon. I came home from work today and just handed it to her. She looked at, read it, then put it on the table while mumbling a disappointed, "great." She'll get used to it. She didn't know I've been carrying at home after work for the last 90 days so why worry now?

Didn't get a chance to go to Wally World yet. Did go to Costco to get some gas though. Transition wasn't too bad since I've been carrying at home.
