I'm also curious about the trespassing thing too.

The place I mention earlier is on Woodward in Ferndale (South of I696)

There is also the city of Ferndale city bldg and library. Still posted even though the courts told them to stick it and that public buildings are public places and therefore subject to the CPL laws and preemption, which says that municipalities cannot make their own firearms laws that resrict on the rights specifically granted by the state firearms laws.

I just got back from a quick trip to NW Ohio. It seemed every business there had a sign up, including the motel I wound up in. As it was the third motel that night (at 1:00 AM) and was the only one that was acceptable to the wives we wound up staying there. It sure seemed that Toledo was anti-gun - definitely not the Toledo I grew up in.

On the other hand the only signs I've seen here in CO have been at the hospital and one Costco in the northern berbs of Denver.

In FL, those signs aren't worth the cost of ink to print them.

We need a website or link that lists any businesses, by state, that do not allow carry. Quick reference for stores to avoid, and reference for those of us that like to write letters!

I just smile and ignore it when I go in. Interstingly enough the gun in the sign is a 1911 with a comp and an extended magwell and all kinds of competition stuff... I find it odd that they think people carry those...
We had our CHL instructor mention hospital ERs in his class. The one around from me is posted but, as he said, he just enters via the door that isn't posted and walks down the the ER. Keeps it legal that way.

The other thing to note is most state agencies are not allowed to post the 30.06 signs in Texas.

As a proud citizen of the Bluegrass State, should I be offended by your "pensltucky" comment?

If people would send me the information...I could setup a blog that could sort the posts by state. Or we could have a stickied thread here.
