Mine took about 1 month. With the gun sales booming right now, it's not a stretch that the CC permits are backed up as well, especially in NH's case since it's cheap and easy.

Mine took a month and a half about two years ago. The nice thing was that any time I made an inquiry over the phone to an aswering machine it was always answered with a follow up call by the NHSP.

Worse comes to worst, I may have something to offer in the Open Carry forum.
I called today and was informed the current wait time is 7 weeks.

Me too... Mine was 12/14

I was starting to get annoyed so I decided to Check here to find out if I was lost in space or something. Glad to see I am not the only one.

*ETA*
7 weeks works ok for me as I will not need to use it's reciprocity for about 10 weeks after applying for it. I just wish there was an easy way to check the status.

I wonder if it could be because of the election

Sent mine in on 1/31/08 ... My check still hasn't cleared. Not sure how long it's taking these days, but I can imagine they're backed up like every other state right now.

Check cleared today (2/12/09), two months to the day after I wrote it and mailed it off.
