Finally got my permit
Another "Finally" the elk in my avitar is my first "Finally" killed him with an arrow, well really two arrows. He lives on my living room wall, my wife got a name plate "Finally" to put under him, keeps me humble but that is a different story.
The point of this post is to let every one know I got my Colorado Concelaed Handgun Permit today. Took 65 days, I applied 23 Dec so I imagine between Christmas and New Years the whole process got slowed down. I have been carrying around the house when I walk the dog, live on five acres. I am comfortable with my equipment. Off to Wally World, map and bingo card in hand. I was more worried about attracting attention carrying the clip board for my bingo card and yelling BINGO! than I was about my Kimber .45. No .45 ammo I checked out a new bath room rack but decided to let the wife pick the one she wants, I really do not care I'm just the guy who installs stuff. Checked out an HD TV but maybe if I wait long enough BHObama will buy me one. Bail out my sports addiction. Bought some fried chicken gizzards, much better for you than Nachos. Not many people at wally world so I stopped at another store and bought a six pack. I will not be able to carry on a daily basis because of office policy, No Weapons on the property and I spend time on the local Air Force Base, no weapons on the Federal Reserve. Other than personnel protection I got the permit so I could carry at church. I know there are a few others at church that carry, my question is should I let my Pastor know? My Pastor is a good friend and knows I hunt and have guns let me know there are others, not by name. One prints so I know he carries, another guy is a LEO so I assume he carries. Semper Fi |
