Congrats from So. Carolina! You said you have a MAK? I don't mean to sound doubtful or anything, it's just that when a person says they have a MAK it usually turns out to be a "MAK-like" or some other version of the pistol. A simlar pistol would be like a PA-63 or some other version of the famous Makarov pistol. In any event, congratulations on your permit!

Congrats and welcome to the fold (or should I say, welcome out of the fold and into the kennel) from yet another Missourian (SW corner).

Congradulations from Washington State. I've had my permit for almost a month now. I have heard many good reports about the 9x18 Makarov. I understand it makes an excellent carry piece. My (used) S&W J-frame came with a Galco IWB holster that started to feel real comfortable after I purchased a sturdier leather belt. That made all the difference!

Welcome to the dark side... Formerly from KCMO now in west central Missouri.

Freakdaddy... I've probably passed you on the road a time or two.

Thumbs up

Congratulations! Have a great Wally World walk... (just ignore the huge neon signs over your head flashing "GUN" and arrows pointing to your weapon)... you'll get used to it soon enough, no one sees it, only you...
