Full size pistol about 1:30 in a Kholster. Works real good for me. I also carry in a Tommy's Gun Pack sometime. I like it for shopping, you can put your hand in it and around your weapon if something creeps you out and draw in a flash.

I'm a 4 o'clock guy, so I'll come along.

Sig P220 at about 2:30 in a Pro-Active Defender belly band...same when I carry my Sig 232. Very comfortable and easy to get to. You might have to move it 15 minutes or so back to avoid the barrel jamming into you but with a little adjustment it's perfect.

6' & 180 to 190lbs.

SIG 220 @ 3:30 to 4:00 IWB FBI most of the time. When going to a Doctor, Courthouse, etc will switch to a Paddle FBI, before leaving the house.

Interesting thread. I will suggest that where and how you carry might depend on some things.
1. If you are on your feet most of the time where you carry is not so limited as you can find the most comfortable placement.
2. If you sit or ride in a vehicle a lot the placement may become more limited.
3. What you wear also becomes a deciding factor.
Hope this is helpful, best wishes.

I've come to prefer the gun positioned directly in line with the seam of my jeans, (3:00 oclock), with no cant. That's me. Your preference may be different.

I am 6'1" and 200lbs. Depending on your holster (this is the main reason for adjusting carry position)......cant, rake, straight drop or whatever. Personally I carry from 3-4 o'clock with my IWB holsters. Another issue is the size of the pistol you'll be carrying. I need a good forward rake to carry a full size semi auto in those positions in order to hide the grip. Also..your cover garments will play a role in location of the holster/pistol in combination. You'll need to field engineer things, then research and develop your means and methods. We all do since we are not all cut from the same piece of paper. Good luck with it...time and diligence.
