Welcome from Dayton, Ohio. I applied in Preble County instead of Montgomery County because I was told they will wait the entire 45 days. My friend got his in 2 days from Preble, and I was just under two weeks.

It took my wife and I exactly 4 weeks and 1 day to get our permits in Clark county (because of the large number of applicants since the election) but a friend of mine got his in Logan county in about 10 days. A couple of people have posted here that they received theirs in 1 day in Franklin county. So it really varies here in OH. Just be glad you don't live in some of the states that takes months! (Or worse, the "Peoples Republic of Illi-noise", where one of my daughters can't get a permit!)
